As a personal rule, to prevent potential breach of confidential information and to ensure the privacy of my clients, I am only taking appointments by phone or e-mail query, first. Apps are NOT used for data breach security, and only accept online payments thru Paypal, with the following forms of payment: 
BankAmericard (Visa)     , master charge (master card)      ,  American Express (Amex)      ,
Discover (Financial Services Card)     , or a Cashier's Check. I only will accept Cashier's Check if from a verified institution. Before services, we will set a time for an appointment, and I will send you an e-mail reminder of said date and time, costs, etc. You will be given an itemized breakdown of all services of which you are paying. Please save any and all e-mail correspondence as that is your record.
[I am also happy to write out a physical receipt for Cashier's Check payments.]
