I currently offer a restored 52 card deck dating from the 1400-1500's. Hand-drawn in Lyon, France, it is believed to be the second interpretation of the Lyonnais-period. The cards were photographed beautifully by an avid archivist and historian who knew famed card collector, Sylvia Mann; who allowed him to access her collection.

Though long sold off to a private collector upon Mann's death in 1994, at age 70, these are perhaps one of - if not the oldest - drawings of the suit of cards as we know them to be in the present day. The only known identity of the artist is the bearing of their initials: J.V.

Thanks to the art of digital restoration, these beautiful works of art will no longer be lost to time.

Each deck is $100.00, with an option of semi-gloss, or backing if you so desire, and will be printed in partnership with Seattle Printworks; located in the historic Ballard District of Washington State.
